Spent 5 days in the gorgeous desert in Joshua Tree at Bhakti Fest, a spiritual music and yoga festival. Feels so expansive and freeing to my soul to be in the desert, and so appealing to my aesthetic sense, the light and the colors, the big sky. And now I am so ready to get a move on recording my songs - I've almost completed 2 new ones w/Jon Jon at Little Buddha and I'm so psyched, it's amazing how I've grown in the 2 years since I first recorded with JJ. I'll soon post at least one of them here, "Do I have to be so Good", which friends who've taken a listen in my car have wanted to buy and say it should be on the radio - so I'm psyched.
